eNom ETP pricing tiers adjusted in response to ICANN-approved registry price increases

In April 2007 the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) approved price increases for certain domain registries. Domain registries are the private companies which manage the registration of domain names within the top-level domains for which they are responsible, control the policies of domain name allocation, and technically operate its top-level domain(s).

Domain registries VeriSign, Afilias, Neulevel and Public Interest Registry applied for price increases and received approval and will be raising their wholesale prices to all ICANN-accredited registrars. In light of that decision, eNom will be adjusting its ETP pricing tiers effective October 14, 2007 as follows:

ETP Pricing TiersOld Domain Pricing TierNew Domain Pricing Tier
PREMIER$6.95/year$7.45/year
VOLUME$7.95/year$8.45/year
BASIC$8.95/year$9.45/year
ALTERNATIVE$9.95/year$10.45/year

There is no change in the value of eNom Points that may currently be in your ETP account. Each is still redeemable for domain names or web services at the rate of 1 point = $1.00. All ETPs were notified of this adjustment by email on September 14, 2007 sent to the registered address in their account. Missed reading the mail? View it here.
